- Abstract
The article presents an economic forecast for the world economy for 2010. Key factors driving the recovery of world economy include a marked decline in financial stress levels, resilient performance by key emerging markets, and major monetary and fiscal stimulus by governments. Emergers are expected to outperform major industrialized countries in 2010 with emerging Asia already with an average gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast that is three percent stronger in June. Positive trend in corporate liquidity is cited as another factor.
