- Abstract
The article explores the question of how educational generational orders and relationships are created or designed interactively and interpreted by the actors in the context of digitalization in school and teaching. Based on empirical findings from a research project on the social practice of digitalized learning we show that the application and the associated possibilities of digital media in the classroom are embedded in the structural logic of educational sociality. Although new forms of expression and ambivalences of generational order formation can be observed, the structural generational differences are reproduced in the classroom with digital media as well as in the students' orientations.
