- Abstract
The article discusses the study on the effectiveness of smad7 gene protein as preventive factor for cachexia, a muscle wasting syndrome among cancer patients. It examines the effects of procachectic ligands and improving patient's nutritional supplementation, anti-inflammatory glucocorticoids and appetite stimulants. It also notes on the statistical analysis on isoflurane and ketamine as genome vectors for treating cachexia.
