- Abstract
In the article "Measure What Matters," venture capitalist John Doerr introduces the goal system OKRs, which is considered by Google founder Larry Page as part of his company's success. OKRs consists of two main components: Objectives, which represent concrete measurable goals, and Key Results, which describe the path to achieving the Objectives. Transparent organization-wide planning, communication, and measurement of the Objectives enable a common alignment of all activities towards a company's most important goals. Doerr provides a detailed guide for implementing OKRs and showcases success examples as well as common mistakes in their usage.
