- Abstract
The article reports on the activities of Terraces on 7th, an independent living facility for seniors in Vancouver, British Columbia. It states that residents attend an hour-long group fitness class twice a week to develop their strength, endurance and balance to prevent falls and improve mobility, and avail of Tai Chi classes and a video-gaming system that allows physical mimicking of different sports. Seniors are reportedly encouraged to work at their own pace in individualized exercises.
