- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the sub-glacial morphology in the Aurora Subglacial Basin region in East Antarctica. The study uses a physically-based ice thickness interpolation scheme in reconstructing the homogeneous coverage in the region. It is found out that the interpolated morphology reveals an extensive marine-based ice sheet and large areas that are located below the sea level.
