- Abstract
In Older to improve the dyeing performance of safflower yellow on wool, the effects of Box myrtle extract on the K/S value, color characteristic value and color fastness of safflower yellow dyed wool fabric under different process conditions were tested, and the content of mordant on dyed fabric was analyzed by Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS5 to analyze the reasons for improving fastness. On the basis of the optimal process of dyeing safflower yellow pigment and bayberry tannin extract in the same bath, and then using aluminum sulfate for mordant dyeing. The results show that under the dyeing condition of pH 4, 95°C and 45 min, safflower yellow and 4% (owf) Box myrtle extract were dyed in the same bath, and then 6% (owf) aluminum sulfate mordant at 60°C could significantly improve the light fastness bf wool-dyed fabric, so that the color fastness of dyed fabric reached grade 4 and above. The EDS test shows that more aluminum ions were involved in the formation of coordination bonds after the addition of Box myrtle extract.
