- Abstract
Starting a pyrethrum crop through seedling requires knowledge of the necessary time to produce it and of the leaves number dynamic per plant up to a growth stage that allows field transplantation. By monitoring leaves on plants elected in a seedbed, from early phases of development, it was observed that emergence period of the optimal leaves number for planting, extends to one and a half months. Plants and their average number of leaves have a very low rhythm of growth.
