- Authors
Pierce, Mary Lou
- Abstract
The article offers information on the Crib for Kids Project of the South Dakota State Medical Association (SDSMA) to prevent the death of infants in South Dakota. Figures show that about 11,500 infants are born every year and 877 died prior to infants' first birthday. In response to the rising infant mortality rates in the state, the SDSMA Alliance promoted the Cribs for Kids project by providing families with cribs which are safety-approved.
