The article focuses on the inadequacy of the U.S. Bar Exam. Topics discussed include the Multistate Performance Test created by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE), bar exams covering subjects including torts, constitutional law and criminal law, essay examination taken under the bar exam, addition of civil procedure to the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) being unnecessary, the need for skills such as legal research and alternative dispute resolution to be covered by bar exams.
