- Abstract
The article discusses the proposed amendments to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 45 ("Rule 45") in order to solve issues relating to Rule 45's nonparty subpoena procedures. It informs that interpretations of Rule 45(a)(2)(C) and Rule 45(b)(2)(B) varies in court's decision. It offers information that the amendments provides a subpoena issue from the court in which the action is pending, allows nationwide service of process, and requiring subpoena compliance at a place reasonably convenient.
