- Abstract
Pantograph is the key component of EMU to obtain power stably from power supply catenary, and its working state directly affects the safety and reliability of EMU operation. In order to timely detect and reduce secondary disasters caused by abnormal pantograph status faults on vehicles, the paper introduces an intelligent recognition system that utilizes real-time video images of the pantograph and adopts multiple intelligent recognition algorithms to analyze the operating status of the pantograph in real time, and proposes the system composition and design elements of each intelligent recognition function. The practical application shows that the system can effectively recognize and detect the abnormal status of the pantograph during train operation, and carry out alarm prompts, which is of great significance in guiding the running safety of rolling stock.
