The author discusses how to control bovine tuberculosis (TB) in Great Britain. Topics include the consultation document issued by the Great Britain Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) on June 11, 2014 to strengthen the movement controls in cattle, the international conference hosted by the British Cattle Veterinary Association on Mycobacterium bovis held in Cardiff, Wales from June 16-19, and the role of local veterinarians in helping farmers to control the disease.
