- Authors
Cobelli, Claudio; Vella, Adrian
- Abstract
The article focuses on study which examines the endocrine and exocrine interactions to understand the insulin secretion in cystic fibrosis disease state. Topics discussed include the study comparing the pancreatic-insufficient cystic fibrosis (PI-CF) with pancreatic-sufficient cystic fibrosis (PS-CF); PS-CF having greater arginine-stimulated insulin secretion level, and PI-CF having lower insulin secretion but greater glucose level.
