- Abstract
The article focuses on studies which examined the relationship between personality traits and language learning, and its implication for the teaching process and curriculum development. Researchers use either the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the three-factor model of Eysenck, the Big Five framework and Sixteen Personality Factor in assessing personality and its relationship with academic performance and language learning. The limitations of these studies are mentioned.
