The Stones Cry Out Delegation: From the Ground in Palestine to the US Government and Churches.
- Authors
GRIFFEN, WENDELL
- Abstract
A delegation of American Christians, including pastors and activists, visited Palestine to witness and document the ongoing oppression and violence against the Palestinian people. They emphasize that the violence did not begin with a recent attack by Hamas, but rather is part of a long history of Israeli oppression and the ongoing Nakba. The delegation calls for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the occupation of Palestine, and the dismantling of Zionism. They also criticize the US government for its support of Israel and call for the restoration of funding to UNRWA. The delegation highlights the importance of nonviolent resistance and urges people to take action in support of the Palestinian cause.
