- Authors

- Abstract
The defense began presenting its case in the trial of Sam Bankman-Fried, the accused fraudster and money-launderer behind the cryptocurrency exchange FTX. Former friends and colleagues have testified for the prosecution, detailing how FTX customer deposits were secretly funneled into Bankman-Fried's other company, Alameda Research. Bankman-Fried is expected to testify and face cross-examination. So far, the defense has presented information about Bankman-Fried's work habits, his lack of knowledge about certain aspects of the business, and his involvement in risk management. Bankman-Fried's friends have also testified that they advised against closing Alameda when it faced financial difficulties.
