- Abstract
This article discusses a case of periorbital changes induced by prostaglandin eye drops. The patient, a professional mixed martial arts fighter, presented with hollowing of the upper eyelid and skin discoloration of the left periorbital area. The article explores the differential diagnosis and concludes that the patient's symptoms were likely caused by prolonged use of latanoprost ophthalmic solution. The article emphasizes the importance of discussing potential aesthetic changes with patients when prescribing medications and suggests taking baseline photographs to monitor progression. It also highlights the need for further research on corrective treatments for prostaglandin-associated periorbitopathy.
