- Abstract
The article presents a randomised controlled trial which examines the effect of pharmacist medication history taking and unintentional errors of postoperative medications. The study reveals that the approximate marginal mean amount of missed doses during the hospital stay of patients was 1.07 in the pharmacist supplementary prescribing group. It shows that amount of medications charted at a wrong dose was lessened in the pharmacist history group.
