The article discusses the need of data with simple statistical questions to large-scale empirical legal research projects in the legal profession with the fact sheet of the American Bar Association (ABA) which gives the number of lawyers in private practice. Topics discussed include use of bibliometrics for the publication or citation, problem of statistical gaps, and need of education and awreness for data handling.
