- Title
Small interfering RNAs to the rescue: blocking L1 retrotransposition.
- Authors
Soifer, Harris S.; Rossi, John J.
- Abstract
The article studies RNAs and conclude that small interference RNAs that exist in human cells and are derived from L1 retrotransposons, providing evidence that RNA interference has a role in regulation of retrotransposition in humans. The role of RNA interference in regulation of retrotransposition in humans is also studied. Controlling the ability of retrotransposons in maintaining the integrity of genetic information is also analyzed.
