- Abstract
The article cites a study which seeks to investigate the effectiveness between the use subirrigation and fixed overhead irrigation system. The study considered the metrosideros polymorphia that grown for 9 months in a greenhouse and metrosideros macropus were evaluated using subirrigation for nursery production of other species. Results showed that subirrigation was valuable technique for growing native plants involving large canopies while irrigation systems were less effective.
