- Abstract
NiCoS nanosheets were successfully in situ grown on carbon fibers via one-step process and used in fiber-shaped dye sensitized solar cells (FDSSCs) as counter electrodes (CEs). The electrocatalytic ability and electrochemical properties of the NiCoS-CF CE were studied by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The power conversion efficiency of 6.31% was achieved by the FDSSC based on NiCoS-CF CE, which is superior to that of the device using Pt wire CE (6.03%).
