- Abstract
The article focuses on the emergence of more investments in Africa. The trend has been contributed by low yields, high liquidity, and by the perceived high returns in the country. It has likewise been influenced by the government which has made policies that encourage private investments in feasible and profitable projects. Some of the companies which had entered the country include Russian-based investment bank Renaissance Capital Corp. which announced a billion-dollar pan-African investment fund and Pamozdi Investment Holdings which announced its $1.3 billion pan-African fund.
