- Abstract
A literary critique of the book "Ulysses" by James Joyce is presented, in which the author discusses unanswered questions from the novel's plot. The etymologies of the words question and quest are discussed, as well as the use of both as themes in "Ulysses." The reality of human life in literature, the married characters Leopold and Molly Bloom, and Joyce's use of impersonal catechism as a narrative device are also discussed.
