- Abstract
The article presents a case of a 17-month-old Canadian boy of South-Asian descent who was rushed to a rural hospital emergency department due to a minor injury to discuss a case of pathological fracture resulting to incidental diagnosis of rickets. Also cited are his incidental findings like osteopaenia, concave metaphyses and metaphyseal margins, as well as his treatment of forearm splint and vitamin D supplementation.
