- Authors
Agius, Raymond
- Abstract
The author reflects on the need in asserting the value of academic occupational medicine to reduce risks to health from work or rehabilitate people back to work in Great Britain. He comments on the disregard of the Forum on Academic Medicine to cite the concern on occupational medicine having highlighted problems in training, recruitment, and retention of academics. He mentions the need of the academics units to continue undertaking research prompted by work-related problems.
