- Abstract
Systematic study in process mineralogy of REE containing phosphorite in the Zhijin region were shown by chemical analysis, XRD analysis, ICP-OES analysis, MLA analysis and polarizing microscope and others. The experimental result indicated that the rock ore belongs to typical low grade carbonate phosphate ore. Meanwhile, abundant REE elements included that mainly yttrium, lanthanum and neodymium, found in fluorapatite. On the contrary, there were only a few REE elements occurred in gangue minerals like dolomite, calcite and quartz. Finally, the linear variation of REE elements with mineral composition under different fineness revealed the positive correlation relationship between REE elements and fluorapatite. Therefore, if carry out physical ore dressing test, the REE and fluorapatite will enrich together, and select REE can only choose fluorapatite because they interact with each other.
