- Title
"WHICH ME WILL SURVIVE.".
- Authors
Leonard, Keith D.
- Abstract
The article follows the lead of Aldon Nielsen and Lauri Ramey in clarifying more concretely some of the countours of the adventurous African American lyric using the example of protest poet Audre Lorde. It demonstrates how Lorde's lyric practice highlights self-contradictory wrinkled in the logic of identity politics and how her work calls for a more capacious conception of poetic innovation. It cites Lorde's lyric practice where a woman confronts and resists all manner of discursive erasure.
