The article examines the concept of public welfare promulgated in the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. As stated, the concept of the public welfare is broad and inclusive and values represented by it are aesthetic as well as monetary. It refers to a judgement in a court case where the court reaffirmed that a sufficiently unreasoned zoning decision can and will violate the Equal Protection Clause.
