- Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to determine the approaches about the effects of teaching in the course of Technology and Design using with Method of Creative Drama. The working group of the study planned and designed as a qualitative research method is composed of 12 students attending the Secondary School in Kiraz District of İzmir. Data was provided by the 4-question self-evaluation forms fulfi lled at the end of the workshop by the students and analysed to use the descriptive analyse technique correlating with the research questions. According to the results of the research, when the Method of Creative Drama was compared to teach with conventional teaching method, the course content was understood much better by the students and the targets of the course were reached after the sessions; the importance of creativity was understood better; and thus the students expressed more easily themselves and their imaginations. Beside these, it is determined that the students were curious, inquiring and critical individuals; and they participated ambitiously and pleasurably and did not hesitate to ask questions within the duration of course.
