- Abstract
Rapid globalization requires for researchers and engineers to have broad scientific knowledge, logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and expressiveness. To improve these skills and to help students advance in their practical communication abilities faculty needs to keep developing the educational environment and to make efforts to ensure more opportunities for students to make presentations at meetings as well as to train them for presenting in front of an audience. The effect of presentations delivered by undergraduate and graduate students majoring in the field of electrical and electronic engineering is discussed and examples of good practices for training students using presentations at meetings in the fields of physics, engineering, and technologies are also given in the paper.
