- Abstract
EUR is the basis of the development for shale gas reservoirs. Complex flow characteristics and vari- able working schedules lead to a long period of transient flow stage of shale gas wells. EUR evaluation exists big uncertainty. Because of different assumptions,evaluation method of EUR is not fully applicable to the whole life cycle of shale gas well. Firstly,application conditions of multi-methods are discussed. Different methods should be suitable for different flow regimes. Secondly,data quality is the key to the production dynamic analysis,poor data quality results in large uncertainties for EUR evaluation. In order to improve the accuracy,valid data is fil- tered by the production curve and normalized production/pressure-material balance time. Flow regime is identi- fied by data diagnostic chart of linear flow and modern production decline analysis. Comprehensive consideration of data quality and flow regimes,the EUR evaluation process of shale gas well is put forward. i.e. EUR evalua- tion method selected is confirmed by history matching and prediction for long time,probability EUR is gained by the distribution of input parameters. Finally,compared to the result of numerical simulation,the method is just right. Reservoir geological sweetness and formation pressure and stimulated reservoir volume are the impor- tant influencing factors for shale gas well.
