- Abstract
The goal of this paper is to review the genesis and the form of the derivation matrix of Andrić's "works in progress" (mythical-historical, archetypal, aesthetic and epistemological designation of Being and Reality, history and myth, spirit and soul, light and darkness, the experience of identity of liminality and liminality of identity in the ambivalence and imminence, of agon and unity of anthropological and ontological aspects of decentred subject) as the framework of the starting and destination space of the narrative of the two unfinished novels, but also of the overall poetic cosmogony, in both modernist inter-war tendencies (lyrical- meditative-narrative outcome of the first poetic miscellanies as prolegomena of the novel On the sunny side) as well as the post-war illumination and aesthetic circumscription of the avant-garde in the new poetic forms of the mature mythical-typical epic grasp (illumination of the mythical basis of the allegorical code of ideological repression and totalitarianism and subversive profiling of the discourse of the government/power in the fictional actualization of the literary mosaicity of the novel Omer-paša Latas). The reflection on life as a kind of meta-narrative of the historical course is transmitted through imaginary stimuli, experientially is close to temptations of existence and death, which categorizes both works as dialogically open literary constructs as well as the most suggestive confessional prose (reconfiguration of discourse through the propagation of the linearity of the text), inter-war and post-war literary genesis and duration in poetically accomplished spirituality of the processual form of the Being and Nothingness of the decentred subject on the trace of beauty and meaning.
