- Abstract
The article focuses on the study conducted by the Punjab Agricultural University, Kapurthala, India on the incidence of Pokkah boeng disease on sugarcane varieties, which is fungal disease, first recorded in Java. Topics discussed include challenges of disease management strategies by distribution of the pathogen and the interaction between the pathogen and prevailing biotic and abiotic environment, chart on meteorological data, and epidemiological factors.
