- Abstract
The article discusses confirmation and appointment power in the U.S. Supreme Court. Members of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee usages the confirmation hearings for own political beliefs instead of focusing on the qualifications of the nominee. It concludes three solutions for overcoming the problem which includes questioning of the nominees through Committee representatives; appointing experts in the senators' places for questioning, and appling audio recording for hearings.
