- Title
THE INFLUENCE OF SERGEI PROKOFIEV'S NEOCLASSICISM ON THE HARMONIC LANGUAGE OF MILAN JELIČANIN'S TWO TOCCATAS.
- Authors
Hukić, Naida
- Abstract
This paper primarily points out the similarity of neoclassical harmonic means (the same cadence, permeation of tonalities in the third relationship, quadratic structure) in a linear cross-section, and the similarity of romantic harmonic means (parallelisms of chords of the same type, echo-effects of chords, accented triads) in a vertical cross-section of voices in Sonata Op. 28 No. 3 by Sergei Prokofiev and Two Toccatas by Milan Jeličanin.
