- Abstract
The article discusses use of palliative care in providing medical aid in dying. Topics including the mentality of the patient's after the cancer diagnosis of losing their dignity and of burdening their families in their final days; work done by healthcare providers and oncology nurses to improve care for patient; and efforts of Oncology Nursing Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology of providing help to cancer patients.
