- Abstract
The study I Bacterial Heavy-Metal and Antibiotic Resistance Genes in a Copper Tailing Dam Area in Northern China i suggests that heavy Metal Resistance genes (MRGs) and antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) can be co-selected in soil contaminated by heavy metals. More recently, resistance to colistin has been detected and reported in several hospital and community environments such as animal farms.
