- Abstract
The article reports that Maintained Nursery Schools are cutting staffing and services to balance their books as a result of lost income and additional COVID-19 costs, and School leaders have reported losing an average of income to spend an extra for additional COVID-19-related costs. Topics include maintained nurseries for exceptional cost funding for COVID-19 from the Government; and government schemes which benefited the sector such as the business rates holiday or business loans.
