- Abstract
Dear Editor, Scabies is an infectious disease caused by I Sarcoptes scabiei i var. hominis, a human ectoparasite.[1] Nodular scabies is a well-known clinical variant of scabies, characterized by pruritic nodules.[2] It occurs in about 7% of scabies patients. In scabies infestations, the diagnosis is basically clinically established.[4] In the disease, detecting silion and tunnels makes diagnosis easier. However, rarely, the scabies parasite may be present in nodular lesions.
