PORTS AND SHIPPING: New Maritime Link.
- Abstract
This article reports on the new maritime service connecting the Spanish port of Arracife in the Canaries archipelago with Agadir in Southern Morocco. It will be opened in summer 2008. The crossing will be done once a week between the port of Arrecife and the city of Agadir, which will last about seven hours. According to source, tickets will be sold from the end of March 2008. Canaries-based company Navier a Arravas will supply the boat for the service and the ferry Assalama has been operating the links between the Canarian bridges.
