A case study of a 19-month-old girl who is diagnosed with acute ataxia is presented. Topics discussed include symptoms of episodic ataxia, seizures, hypotonia, dysmetria, nystagmus, or myoclonus; ild transient tachypnea of the newborn and slow growth; and neither dysmetria nor truncal titubation was observed.
