- Abstract
The anti-Semite politics from Hungary was expressed, firstly, by the legislative measures from the interwar period whose result was extremely damaging for the Jews from Hungarian state territory. After August 30, 1940 when the North-Eastern Transylvannia was annexed by the Horthyst Hungary after the well known Fascist diktat from Vienna, the situation of the Romanians and Jews aggravated considerably, especially in the summer of 1944, when the governors from Budapest rushed to apply "the final solution" of Nazi facture, namely the ellimination of the Jews from Europe. The author presents in the above mentioned study exactly this political landscape marked by an extreme anti-Semitism, bringing into discussion the anti-Jewish laws especially the ones from the time of the Second World War. It is about, practically, by the historical context of the establishment of the ghettos in Northern Transylvannia, including the one from Oradea, which was the largest in Hungary. I come up with the idea that such a tragic reality was possible because of the fascist ascension and of their tendency to apply the "final solution" in the issue of the Jews from Northern Transylvannia by the Horthyst authorities.
