- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old man with a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus and depression initially presented with therapy-resistant generalized pruritus. Topics include T-cell prolymphocytic leukaemia (T-PLL) being a rare and aggressive haematological malignancy that presents with hyperlymphocytosis, splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy; and how the patient received alemtuzumab therapy (anti-CD52 antibody) and his pruritic skin lesions resolved rapidly.
