- Abstract
The article describes a case of ethambutol-induced drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome with early features that resemble Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) in a 68-year-old woman. It mentioned that the patient initially presented with features of SJS, but developed typical features of DRESS. It noted that the case supports the importance of safer diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of severe drug hypersensitivity.
