- Abstract
The article deals with advertising films of the company Fleurop from the 1950s and 2000s. The films use emotional communication strategies to address wishes, longings, and hopes. In the films, Fleurop promotes not products, but the delivery of bouquets and flower arrangements. The company was founded in Berlin in 1908 and has adapted to changing political conditions and social changes throughout its history. Today, Fleurop sells flowers in 150 countries and has been awarded multiple times for its commercials and advertising films.
