- Abstract
The article presents an insight into the historical copying processes. Earlier copying processes involved the use of mechanical copying press especially for copying the Savigny documents. The Savigny copies exhibit ink corrosion. Conservation and storage of these documents depend on the history and manufacture of their copies. Since 1780, copy presses have existed in which copies of documents were created using special copying ink.
