- Abstract
In this paper, we obtain some properties of miniinjective rings and consider the Faith's open problem: Is a semiprimary right self-injective ring quasi-Frobenius?. We study this question by examining rings with a very weak self-injectivity hypothesis. The main result is that a semiperfect, right and left miniinjective ring with essential right socle such that R has ACC on right annihilators is quasi-Frobenius. This result is related to the results of Harada, Nicholson and Yousif.
