In this article, the author focuses on the requirement of risk assessment in attention for nature of scientific objectivity and to public perceptions of research legitimacy. It mentions that important criteria for evaluating the objectivity of scientific work including transparency, effective criticism and procedural consistency. it also mentions that the effective criticism can be promoted by the development of advisory boards.
